Signable has a new Marketing Manager – meet Jessie!

It’s been two weeks since I started as one half of Signable’s shiny new Marketing team, and since starting my main focus (other than trying to nail the software!) has been how I can claim the title “Content Queen” as my own.

Before getting to Signable I came to Bristol in 2008 to study Fashion Communications at UWE. A bit far removed from marketing software, right? But i’m a creative person, and growing up I always enjoyed making clothes and writing (it helps having a designer for a grandmother) so Fashion Comms was a bit of a no brainer. However whilst studying I took a marketing module, and this opened me up to a whole new area I hadn’t considered before.

Since graduating in 2011 I’ve had 4 years experience working in marketing roles, from assisting right up to managing. And during this time I’ve found that I still very much enjoy writing and I still enjoy making stuff; except now it’s making digital content rather than stitching together outfits.

So naturally now i’m at Signable and I’ve been given free reign when it comes to content that’s what i’ll be looking to do; make lots and lots of lovely content! Too much content if anything. I want to make stuff that will help you to learn something new, something that will make you smile (or at least smirk) and things that will help explain something that you’re struggling with a bit better. And as someone that’s stepping into this role with a fresh set of eyes and learning everything myself, I think that makes me pretty qualified!

So if you have any ideas for what you’d like to see, make sure you drop me an email to let me know. Until then, i’m just going to go write some stuff…
