Signing an online document

Adding a signature to a document with pen and paper is pretty straightforward, add your John Hancock and you’re good to go. But what about say signing PDFs or other files you’ve received by email?

Let’s have a look.

  • Open the email in your mail app, click the link and you’ll be taken to the document. You don’t need a Signable account to sign a PDF document.
  • The sender will have specified the areas that you need to digitally sign. You can draw your signature, add an image of your signature or simply type it out. All are legally binding and acceptable in this instance. That’s your electronic signature created and that’s enough to add your intent to sign to the document.
  • Once you’ve signed everywhere you to need to, simply press send and your document will be delivered back to the sender and everyone who signed.

That’s it! Signing an online document is easier than you first thought right? You can sign documents online from any device, PC and Mac Users, mobile devices and tablets – they all work.

Your details are secure and documents are 100% safe and secure with SSL encryption, password protection and cloud storage. Signable complies with eIDAS regulations and your signature will be legally binding in court!
