Signable hosts inspiring Bristol Women in Business Event

After a successful event last year, Signable proudly brought back it’s Bristol Women in Business event – this time, even bigger and better. On 8th April 2025, we welcomed an incredible community of professionals to Origin Workspace in Bristol for an evening of insight, inspiration, and real conversations. This year’s event, held in partnership with Women’s Tech Hub and Girl Geek Dinners, aligned with the International Women’s Day theme: “Accelerate Action,” continuing our commitment to creating space for important dialogue and meaningful change.
The evening brought together a fantastic community of professionals, entrepreneurs, and advocates who share a commitment to advancing equality, inclusivity, and positive change across industries.
An incredible lineup of speakers
We were honoured to welcome an outstanding panel of speakers who each brought their unique experiences, insights, and advice to the discussion:
- Asher Craig, CEO of The Pathway Fund and a champion for community-led leadership and change.
- Marti Burgess, Partner at Knights and an influential voice for diversity in the legal and business world.
- Caroline Orr, Co-founder of Program and Co-owner of Tech South West, sharing her journey in building and scaling in the tech sector.
- Chrissie Green, Chief People Officer at Signable, offering a refreshing perspective on workplace wellbeing, leadership, and growth.
Their stories sparked deep and thoughtful conversations around building businesses and careers, cultivating confidence, embedding equality and inclusivity into company culture, and prioritising personal wellbeing – and much more.
A night of connection, inspiration, and action
The event saw a fantastic turnout, with the evening buzzing with energy as attendees networked, shared experiences, and took away practical advice to support their own journeys. It was a reminder that when women come together to share, collaborate, and champion one another, incredible momentum is created.
We’re thrilled that our event has been described as a highlight in the 2025 Bristol business calendar. It’s clear that there’s an appetite for more events like this, ones that celebrate real stories, foster action, and build meaningful support networks.
