In light of Google recently recording 100 million subscriptions to Google One, we wanted to showcase our integrations with a range of Google’s products and ensure our customers are getting the most out of their Signable account.

But what is Google One? Does it apply to businesses? And how can you make life easier by connecting Signable with some of Google’s most popular tools? We look at all this and more.

What is Google One?

Google One is an all-in-one subscription service for personal accounts that offers additional storage for tools like Gmail, Drive and Photos.

Every Google account comes with 15 gigabytes of cloud storage, shared across Drive, Photos and Gmail. In today’s world though, with videos of your children, hi-res pictures of your pets, and countless work files, that space doesn’t seem to stretch far.

This is where Google One comes in, offering three tiers to expand your cloud storage for a monthly fee:

Basic – 100 GB: For £1.59 a month or £15.99 a year, get 100 GB of storage as well as the ability to share your storage with up to 5 others, extra Google photo editing features, and access to a VPN for multiple devices.

Premium – 2 TB: For £7.99 a month or £79.99 a year, receive 2 TB of storage, all of the above perks, and 10% back in the Google store.

AI Premium – 2 TB: For £18.99 a month, get access to 2 TB of storage as well as Google’s chatbot Gemini – coming soon to Gmail, Docs and more.

Google One also promises to give users access to Google Workspace premium features such as enhanced appointment scheduling in Google Calendar and improved Google Meet functionality.

Can Google One work for businesses?

Google One is only available for personal accounts. The alternative for business use is Google Workspace. That being said, despite it being targeted at consumers, many sole traders conduct their business perfectly fine on the free plan and so with access to premium features, Google One could be a great option for individuals looking to scale their business.

Connect Signable with Google tools

The great news of course is that whether you’re operating on a business account or a personal one, you can integrate your Signable account with many of Google’s tools.

Directly integrate Signable with:

Google Drive – With the Google Drive integration in place, you can automatically transfer completed electronic signature documents from your Signable account straight into Google Drive to make managing your documents and contracts easier.

Read our step-by-step walkthrough for setting up Signable’s Google Drive integration.

Google Docs – Send your documents to be eSigned through your Signable account without leaving the Google Docs platform. Simply download the extension from Google Workspace Marketplace, create your document, add your signing fields & parties, and send. It’s as simple as that!

  • Remove unnecessary steps by keeping the entire process within Google Docs.
  • No need to export documents or upload files to the Signable App.
  • Add your signing fields easily by simply clicking where you need to add a signature.
  • Invite others to comment and add their input
  • The documents you send through Google Docs will show up in the library in your Signable account.

Integrate Signable with 6,000 apps via Zapier

If you’re looking to connect with more of Google’s products, Zapier also connects Signable with Google Sheets, Calendar and Forms

Acting as a middleware piece of software, Zapier allows you to set up workflows, (zaps) enabling Signable and your chosen app to communicate with each other.

Say you wanted to record each time an envelope is signed in Google Sheets. Simply set up a Signable trigger in Zapier and watch as those rows fill themselves out each time an envelope is signed. It couldn’t be simpler!
