A year in review: The 2023 Signable round up

2023, an eventful year with many highs and lows, from the 5th deadliest earthquake of the 21st century, to the intriguing Barbenheimer phenomenon.
The tech world also experienced twists and turns including SpaceX’s unfortunate rocket explosion, the controversial rise of generative AI models, and advancements to technology like the metaverse, blockchain, and quantum computing – all things which sound very complicated.
What’s not complicated however is the Signable platform and our mission to bring efficient electronic signing to the masses. Our customers sent a whopping 7.5 million documents with Signable in 2023, and that’s not all that happened…
Signable’s 2023 transformation
2023 was a transformative year for Signable. Not only did we introduce some incredible new features to the platform, but we made some key improvements to our integrations, branding, and user experience. Not forgetting too of course the multiple improvements released throughout the year behind the scenes to make the service more secure, reliable and performant. Here’s some highlights in case you missed them:
Bulk Send and All-at-once signing
Both highly requested, Bulk Send and All-at-once signing are certainly the crown jewels of this year’s feature releases.
All-at-once signing is a streamlining solution. With this feature enabled, Signable users can send a single document to multiple signers all at once.
In a similar fashion, the Bulk Send feature allows Signable users on our medium plan and above to send more than one envelope to multiple recipients in one go. No more mail merges or hours wasted copying and pasting!
Both features work in tandem to improve efficiency and streamline document processes, helping our customers send documents on a greater scale.
API and Partner Updates
2023 witnessed some specific improvements for our API users and Signable Partners:
Embedded signing for multiple parties – Exactly as the name suggests, this improvement to the platform means it is now possible to embed a template with multiple parties. Find out how.
Introducing a new ‘Envelope Send Failed’ webhook – Say hello to full transparency over the status of Envelopes. This webhook notifies users when an envelope fails to process, enabling immediate action to be taken and the sending and signing process to remain seamless.
Sending Envelopes using multiple Templates via the API – This feature does exactly what it says on the tin. Find out how to get started here.
Two Factor Authentication
Security is a crucial consideration for any SaaS product and this year, we took an important step towards enhancing it.
Earlier in the year, we introduced Two Factor Authentication (2FA) to our customers’ Signable accounts. 2FA provides an additional layer of security, keeping login information safe and secure.
New “Envelopes” View
Another significant change to the look and feel of the Signable platform occurred this year in the form of a brand new Envelopes View.
We combined the dashboard and the library to create an efficient space to easily search and filter envelopes by status or recipient. Drafts and widgets are also available in the same view, streamlining the app and improving usability.
Customise Auto Reminder Settings
A small change with big benefits, tweaks to the customisation of auto-reminder settings proved popular with our customers.
Default auto-reminder settings can now be set at an account level and will apply automatically to all future envelopes sent in the app and via the API.
Improvements to Automation with Zapier
Throughout 2023, we’ve been working to improve Signable’s integration with Zapier to deliver our customers even more integration and automation opportunities. With over 6,000 apps to choose from, it’s easier than ever to integrate Signable with the apps you know and love.

Giving back to our community
This year, we’ve held several fundraisers and volunteered at various events including Bristol’s Recovery Festival. Giving back to our community is a huge part of what we do and we’re thankful for all the support from our staff and volunteers who champion our values day in, day out!
